This year’s inaugural Bird Photographer of the Year competition is a partnership between the BTO and Nature Photographers Ltd. The competition “Celebrates the artistry of bird photography and promotes conservation by contributing directly to the British Trust for Ornithology to support their conservation research.”
As a short-listed entry I’m featured in the book. My shot of a shag (right) was taken on the Farne Islands in Northumberland.
